To promote environmental leadership within the Girl Scouts of USA program and to disseminate this environmental curriculum widely through use of the technological tools currently available.
- Teach techniques and tips for saving energy in the home that the girls themselves can implement.
- Provide the tools to facilitate girls catalyzing a transition to a more sustainable diet.
- Helping to save the environment by conserving natural resources, and aiding families in saving money on electricity and gas bills.
This program is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and conducted by the Precourt Energy Efficiency Center, Stanford Prevention Research Center at the Stanford University School of Medicine, and Stanford University School of Education.
